My name is Mauricio Vides, Creator and Founder of WebDesignYou, and I will personally meet with you to consult your website needs.

I offer tailored, creative solutions to give your business a professional, eye-catching appearance to drive traffic and increase sales. I will also install a content management system, such as WordPress or Joomla, if requested so that you can update your website at any time.

A one-on-one consultative approach allows me to collaborate with you to develop a customized plan for your website. We utilize the latest technologies and design concepts to help your business outshine the competition. I will personally be with you every step of the way, from brainstorming your website all the way to the finished product.

A little about myself:
I’ve come a long way from battling depression and not knowing what I wanted to do in life to becoming an entrepreneur and a successful business owner. Through trial and error and the help of my mentors I’ve accomplished one of my long life dreams of becoming a CEO of my own company in professional web design and marketing; with employees and sales representatives in Nassau and Suffolk Counties and soon to be in New Jersey. I owe a lot to my friends and family, especially to my brother Juan, my mentor. Without him, I wouldn’t have been able to be this successful.

I first started working at Trader Joe’s when I was studying Computer Science and Biology at Nassau Community College. I learned how to be social and was taught how to have great customer service working at the grocery store. However, I wasn’t happy there and I wasn’t satisfied with the school system and my grades.  I really didn’t want to work for someone else only just to be another cog in a large machine. Instead, I wanted to build something for myself and make an impact on the world. My brother saw that I was distraught one day after I had failed an important test. He had started his own business through his own misfortune of losing his wallet, which led to him to create his business. He suggested that I to do the same by starting my own business, and so I did. I set up my own website.

As I started out, I made many mistakes; some which have cost me a large chunk of my budget. Some days I wondered if this was the right decision. But I worked through the stress and slowly kept learning and understanding the trade while getting better each day. After two years I completed my Bachelors in Computer Science at Queens College, while working hard for my business. As the checks were coming in, I realized I was making more money building websites than working at a grocery store so I decided to quit Trader Joe’s. Soon after, I went full force into networking. I took great pleasure in meeting new people and connecting with them on a professional level. Together with my partner and brother, Juan, we are helping businesses grow all over New York!
